About

There are many sources for information on post production, Final Cut Pro, and everything related. Sites such as “CreativeCow” provide many users with forums, and articles on subjects spanning the nonlinear editing world. While I am an avid reader of “The Cow” I do occasionally find it hard to find what I’m looking for, unless it has been delivered to me via an RSS feed.

In creating this site, I want to bring fresh youthful experience and perspective to the table and provide stories and real encounters with the world of nonlinear editing. Not as it relates to large scale movie or commercial size productions, but rather your closer to home projects that are looking for that large scare (big budget) look.

For I’m just a 20-something living in New York working full time in post production and experiencing everything much like many of you are. In the past, it has been through conversations, and collaborations that I’ve been able to uncover some of the industry tricks, while saving time, and the client money. So, provide feed back, tell your friends, and hopefully, I can share some useful info with you.

I would like to say thanks to the editors, Allison Raines and Holly Kapherr. Without them, you wouldn’t be reading anything on the site!
